This weekend, we were delighted to be part of the Welwyn Garden City Vegan Market, and despite a few unexpected challenges, it turned out to be another memorable day for the SheReal family.

A Sell-Out Before We Even Arrived

In what can only be described as a wonderful problem to have, our 750ml bottles had completely sold out before the event. While we would have loved to showcase our full range, we arrived with only our 330ml bottles available for purchase.

The response from visitors was incredible. Even without our larger bottles on the stall, we achieved almost the same results as our very first vegan market in St Albans, which remains one of our most successful market appearances to date. For a growing independent brand, that level of support means everything.

The Wind Had Other Plans

Of course, every outdoor market comes with its own unique challenges. Throughout the day, strong gusts of wind seemed determined to test our stall setup. Signs moved, cups disappeared in unexpected directions, and anything that wasn't secured quickly tried to join the passing breeze.

Despite the challenges, we kept smiling, adapted as the day unfolded, and continued sharing samples and serving customers. Sometimes entrepreneurship is about preparation, and sometimes it's about simply rolling with the unexpected.
